This system was designed with 32 Evergreen Solar ES-A-195-fa3 195 watt solar panels at 16 panels per string connecting to a Sunnyboy 6000 watt DC/AC Inverter.

This installation use the South and East roof surfaces with equal strings of 16.

Permitting Issues: None, The City of Rancho Palos Verdes was great. The Palos Verdes Art Jury objected to our installation because the solar panels were blue. We appealed to the city and won. Now all solar installations in Palos Verdes Estates can ignore the PV Art Jury.

Time of Use Metering? Yes.

Time of Use Metering means that between 12 noon and 6 PM your electricity rate goes up dramatically. For solar producers this means every time you spin the meter backwards you are getting a credit at the much higher Time-of-Use (TOU) rate.
